We cover our operating costs by keeping 5% of all donations handled by our service. 95% is forwarded to environmental organizations. In contrast, a recent study has shown that major environmental organizations keep an average of 18.5% for operating expenses (source: Charity Navigator). We regularly evaluate our financial model to keep the operation effective and lean.

Building and maintaining trust is an essential part of our operation. All data on this website is encrypted and we work with leading industry partners to ensure the highest level of security. Your data is never sold, and all donors are anonymous. Receipts showing where your money went are always available via your dashboard and can be referenced or downloaded at any time for your records. You can cancel any recurring donations at any time, or simply choose towrite donate once at a time within your dashboard as well.

We carefully select and evaluate organizations based on multiple criteria. In general, organizations must have:

• Real, ongoing, impactful projects
• Proper use of funds and transparency
• Lean and efficient organizations

In addition, we regularly communicate and follow up with organizations, request documentation of their process, results, plans and goals. We follow news, and may elect to visit a project firsthand. If an organization no longer meets our criteria, we may remove it from the donation pool.

After you make your first donation you will have access to your personal dashboard. Donations are generally forwarded within 30 days and their destinations and exact amounts are displayed. You always have access to this history and can download the data for your records.

Yes, we are working on additions to our offerings that help further our mission. We will post updates on these as they come closer to fruition.

We aim to keep our service as dynamic, effective and lean as possible, and do not support this feature at this time. We may consider adding it in the future.
